Week 9: Final Week & Website Completion

I can’t believe this is my last week of my internship with Xondas! This experience has truly been a remarkable journey, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with Xondas through the Digital Summer Clinic. This internship has not only deepened my understanding of UX/UI design but has also equipped me with valuable soft skills that I will carry throughout my professional career.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Digital Summer Clinic and the Xondas team for trusting me with the responsibility of designing and building their company website. It has been a rewarding challenge, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together.

I’m excited to share that we have finalized the website, and the Xondas team loves it! There are just a few minor adjustments to be made regarding the content, but overall, it’s complete, and they are very pleased with the results. They plan to launch the website by the end of the month, and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

Reflecting on my time here, I’ve learned so much about collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving. I look forward to applying these skills in my future endeavors and hope to stay connected with the incredible people I’ve met during this internship.

Week 5: Website Development, Key Learnings, & Future Steps

This is my fifth week interning with Xondas, and it's been an exciting journey! This week, I began building the company's website on Squarespace. My partner and I are focusing on the layout, ensuring it meets the Xondas team's expectations before diving into colors and typography. During our Thursday meeting, the team was thrilled with the layout and eager to see the next steps unfold. Our next challenge is selecting the right color palette and typography. This is my third week at the Digital Summer Clinic, and it has been an incredible learning experience so far! Last week, I had the opportunity to meet with my assigned company, Xondas. During our meeting, I gathered essential information about their website goals, objectives, and overall vision. Understanding these aspects is crucial to ensuring the website aligns perfectly with their needs and expectations. Following this important discussion, I took the initiative to create a site map. This map outlines the website's structure, providing a clear blueprint of how information will be organized and presented. Also, I developed a detailed buyer persona based on a past Xondas client.
